Monday 12th September

Monday 12th September

A very pleasant evening, windward / leeward, race keeping close to the start / finish line in the diminishing light. This proved a good strategy as only two of the four rounds were sailed.

Whilst we, again, started well, Vinyl Solutions still viewed the fleet from the rear by the time the finishing line was crossed, but enthusiasm on board remained high and a little more experience was banked.

At the right end of the fleet Madeleine was pushed hard by Flying Colours whilst XP Rigging achieved an excellent third. Crackerjack, Wijit and Zaphod were split by fractions of a second, with Jobs for the Buoys and Easy Tiger completing the fleet.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to get the results from Monday 5th September as yet. Next Monday is the last of the series but I shall be at the Southampton Boat Show. So, see you all on Saturday 8th October for Annie Lush's Team Magenta coaching day.
